Hola! I am a Costa Rica native with decades of experience in tourism.

I was born on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. At the age of 17, I moved to Santa Teresa and not long after found myself deeply in love with surfing.

While raising my daughter, I studied tourism legislation and ethics in community college. After some hard ups and downs in our lives, I found the time to surf and work to provide for my daughter. Then, I decided that being a surf instructor was my calling alongside being a full-time mum: Surfing and sharing that passion with everyone!

You may find me coaching retreats with Sister Surf, providing private lessons, traipsing around Playa Grande with my kick-ass daughter, or surfing around the country. People say that whatever I’m doing, it’s done it with a contagiously fun and real attitude.

From surfing to outdoor adventures to wellness retreats, I know where to find the best accommodations, tour guides, and local cuisine. I pride myself on understanding the local communities and operating tourism in a way that benefits them, as well as providing an exceptional experience for visitors.
